Cape-Grysbok

A very small antelope that is native to the cape regions of South Africa, i.e. the southern parts of South Africa.
They are also similar to the Sharpe's Grysbok, which are found in the same regions, and also in countries like Zimbabwe, Mozambique, etc.
Their diet consists of fruits and succulent grass.
They are nocturnal animals, meaning they rest during the day and become active at night.
Their small stature makes them easy prey for predators like hyena, leopards, lions, etc.
Males are the only ones with horns, and the horns roughly measure about six to eight cm.
Females generally give birth to one lamb usually in the spring time. Their population is stable according to the IUCN Red List.
